The PAPBA Scholarship Fund

The PAPBA Scholarship Fund was created to help talented students of Portuguese descent reach their academic and professional goals. By offering financial support, PAPBA aims to:

• Promote educational opportunity within the Portuguese-American community
• Recognize academic excellence, leadership, and cultural engagement
• Encourage students to embrace and carry forward their heritage
• Strengthen the local community by supporting emerging leaders, professionals, and innovators

Each year, PAPBA awards scholarships to students who demonstrate strong academic performance, a connection to Portuguese heritage, and a commitment to serving their community. The program is open to both high school and college students residing in the Greater Philadelphia and South Jersey regions.

Through this initiative, PAPBA is not only helping students afford their education — it is investing in the future of the Portuguese-American community itself.
